He began as a specialist in the Department of Otolaryngology in Hospital de Mora (Cadiz) and has worked in public hospitals in Algeciras and Jerez.
Currently he practises exclusively in private medicine in Clinica Novo Sancti Petri (Chiclana) and in Clinica Los Alamos (Jerez de la Frontera).
He is principally engaged in Nose Surgery and rhinoplasty, for both aesthetic and functional reasons, in the study and treatment of nocturnal snoring and sleep-disordered breathing, and in the study and treatment of tinnitus (ear noise).
Surgery on the nose and nostrils covers two groups of surgical interventions: Functional surgery aimed at correcting the patient's symptoms: nasal obstruction, headache, snoring, etc...
This is a very common cosmetic problem that can cause many psychological problems, especially for children.
Usually, chronic nasal obstruction is due to an excessive growth of the inferior nasal turbinates. These are small bones covered by mucous membranes. They are inside the nasal route.
Many people think that snoring and apnea are pulmonary or bronchical problems and that the Continues Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) affect the lungs.
